So the first year of homeschooling in our home has begun! And it is going fairly smoothly so far...thanks to some advance planning. Just as I was sitting down to plan the year, or at least attempt to figure out how it was all going to work, I received an offer to review a Printable Homeschool Planner...aka - a dream come true for a mom who LOVES to plan and be on top of things! :) The Homeschool Planner has turned out to be a great tool for us. Although some of it applies more to older grades, we still were able to choose parts that worked perfect for this first year of Kindergarten! The Homeschool Planner was written and thought of my Heather Bixler who has been homeschooling since 2006. She knows what it takes to have a successful year - and that is organization!
A few of my favorite aspects of the Printable Homeschool Planner is that you only need to print the types of forms, and the exact number of forms that you will be using. Then simply put them in a binder and they will be neat and organized. There are many forms to choose from, so you can customize your planner and avoid excess papers & pages that you won't make use of during the year. We chose to simply print out the Scripture Verse Planner and the Lesson Planners for now, and both of these have been very helpful in planning out the lessons, pages, etc. for the year.
Along with your purchase of The Homeschool Planner you will also receive UNLIMITED access to all current and future printables in the special members area on the website! Pretty great, huh? It's always nice to have more resources to pull from for your children. Finally, the planner is also extremely affordable...and this is really, truly the truth. It is only $4.99 and that includes the unlimited access to the member download page I mentioned above! And you can re-use the planner every year...you really can't lose with a price & deal like this!
All in all, we have enjoyed using The Homeschool Planner and I'm certain we will make even more use of it as our kids grow older. It is simple, easy to use and down to earth. Perfect for a homeschooling family! :)
WIN IT!
Heather is giving away FIVE copies of The Homeschool Planner! If you are interested, simply leave a comment here letting me know what you think your favorite feature of the planner would be.
Contest ends September 6, 2011.

I think being able to print only what you need is great! And it is such a great price too:)
I would love to win this planner. Being printable is a great feature so you can replace pages that you need to change because life happened opposed to using a bottle of whiteout.
ps you listed the end date as Sept. 6th ;)
