Remember my frustrations with Emily and my attempts to start potty training her? Well. I decided that I would wait until fall to try again. BUT the other day I put her on the toilet before a bath and she peed!! And she smiled right away and looked sooooo proud of herself!! We of course clapped and cheered like as if we'd won the lottery! haha...and Emily LOVED it. The next day I decided to keep on trying...and she peed every time. She TOTALLY got it...in one day!!! She knows the sign language sign for potty and does it every time that she goes on the toilet and every time she goes she grins from ear to ear and claps her hands with me! haha...it's adorable. AND she goes pee every time I put her on the toilet now. Yipee!! She definitely still has wet diapers, but a lot less now that I'm taking her to the bathroom regularly. But she loves going "potty!" haha. I'm so excited that she got it so quickly this time...here's to the start of potty training child #2!

Woohooo! That is very exciting! No such wonderful success with Esme yet - and she's quite a bit older - so give yourselves a pat on the back!
(In fact, Esme went by herself perfectly for 3 days - no accidents - and then decided it wasn't for her any more... :)
yay!!!!! awesome!
Good for her. Summer is best time to potty train and she is ready!
Jillian was born a few months before her and we haven't started that yet. But I do notice that when she goes, she grabs her diaper. Guess it's time to get the little potty out again.
Yay, Emily!!! That's amazing.
You go girl! I am amazed by you :)
Oh finally I get to read your blog again! I've been getting those weird error messages.
Anyway, yay for Emily! What a blessing for her to get it so quickly and easily!
