Cloth Diaper With Bumkins! ~ GIVEAWAY!

I don't think it's news to anyone out there that we are HUGE cloth diapering fans around here. :) And since we're all big cloth diaper fans, I'm always on the lookout for cloth diapering products that will make the job even easier and more "do-able" than it already is. :) Bumkins recently added a few new cloth diaper products to their great shop, and they sent us a few to try out! Let's start with the thing that you MUST in order to get rid of those disposables....the cloth diaper itself! And Bumkins Finer Baby Products has a great cloth diaper to start with. They have a Contour Diaper which is made from 2 layers of super soft and comfy cotton or bamboo knit. It has a microfiber pad sewn between the layers, and it really does help with absorbtion. Although I am not normally a big fan of microfiber, I found that the contour diaper worked surprisingly well! It has a great shape as well...different than any other cloth diapers we own. I also love the fact that there's no velcro and no snaps. I know...maybe I'm old fashioned, but I just prefered the pins...that is until I tried the Snappi!!! Bumkins also carries Snappi's - the most wonderful cloth diapering accessories I have ever found. Basically it's a stretchable fastner with strong plastic hooks on the ends which hook into the diapers and keep everything in place! We use our ALL the time now. It's safer, and very fast and easy to use. We are definitely "hooked" on the Snappi (ha!) :)

The final cloth diapering product that Bumkins so generously sent us was a pack of 100 Flushable Diaper Liners! If you're not a big fan of those messy diapers (which I will admit...the messy diapers probably ARE one of the worst parts of cloth diapering at times), then you've got to check out these flushable diaper liners. Definitely one of those "must haves" for an easy cloth diapering experience! Simply place the flushable liner in the diaper, fasten it up with that handy snappi, and away you go...until the mess happens!! Clean up is so quick and easy with the liners. Just pull the liner out of the diaper, put it in the toilet and flush. Voila! Done deal. :)
