Pool Party Protection!

I know summer is almost over...in fact, I'm thinking that we may just have seen the last summer day yesterday. Sigh. Very sad...especially because I am a HUGE summer fan, and not much of a winter fan at all. Fall is great...the colors are gorgeous and I love the crispness in the air...but really, for me, nothing compares to a nice, HOT summer day! Tate has had a LOT of fun playing outside this summer too! It has been the first summer that could enjoy the greatness of being outside...and believe me, 'outside' is one of his favorite words now. :) One thing that we really enjoyed this summer was swimming...or just playing with water. I'd fill up pails of water in the backyard, or fill up Tate's kiddie pool, and he would spend hours playing with/in the water - and getting soaking wet of course! He recently received this great swimsuit from Protect A Bub. He didn't really get to try it out too much at the lake or anything this year since it's already much too cold to go swimming outside (yep, that's Canada for you! haha.), but we will be trying it out when Tate starts swimming lessons right away, and just for fun, we had a "pool party" in the tub the other night. So he got to go swimming with his new swimsuit in the tub, and he was just tickled pink (or blue...that's a more boyish color, right? ;) ).

There are several things that I really like about Tate's new swimsuit from Protect A Bub. First of all, it protects against 98%+ of the sun's UVA & UVB rays. Now that's definitely a plus for someone like me who has a blonde-haired, fair-skinned little boy! Secondly, the fabric is chlorine, sun, surf and sand resistant. So it's great for all situations - inside or outside! I also love the fact that it doesn't really look like a swimsuit! It could just as easily be worn as a short and t-shirt set instead of a swimsuit. How neat is that?! The only downside that I found is that the shorts are quite a bit too loose on Tate - but we all know that he is a skinny mini! So this is nothing unsual...almost all pants are too loose. All in all, we are impressed with this new swimsuit, and as you can tell from the look on Tate's face, he thought it was pretty great too!

Protect A Bub sells a bunch of other fantastic products too...for the entire year, not just for summer months! They have a variety of sunshades for your strollers, rain covers, and even a very cozy looking lambswool stroller liner. Protect A Bub offers something for all seasons.
