Sorry!

We are blessed to have a 2 year old son who is EXTREMELY easy going and is almost always quite well behaved. Really...he has been very easy to parent so far! I hope it lasts. :) But of course, he is NOT perfect, so there are definitely times when he disobeys, refuses to listen, etc. Right now the punishment that seems to work the best is a time-out. It's amazing how well a time-out works! Usually it will only take 1 time-out and he will listen MUCH better after that. However, Tate is SOOOO cute when has his time-outs. It just makes you want to go and give him a big hug and let him out of time-out...but so far we've restrained ourselves and he has to wait in time-out for a few minutes before we go and give him that hug. :) Sooo, you're probably wondering what is so cute about a time-out? Our darlin' boy spends the whole time repeating "sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!" and I think he really means it. That sad look on his face and him telling you that he's so sorry (and he really means it!!) is just the sweetest thing ever...check it out:

Isn't that just almost too adorable to resist?!?!?

It has to be so hard to stick to it and make him sit there the full time. He is just too adorable.

I bet that adorable, pitiful face is hard not to give in to! That is so sweet he just kept saying sorry over and over.

Awww, I think I'd be tempted to pull him out over that cuteness as well. But, it's good that you are being consistent with him.

What a sweetie. And good for you for sticking to your guns even though it must be incredibly hard!
