One Smily Girly...

Well, it seems that once Emily started smiling (about a month ago) she won't stop! ;) And I'm not complaining about that!!! She is SO cute when she smiles, and she just "talks" and "talks" to you lots of times. Tate was never this "talkative" as a baby although he was definitely a very smiley baby too.

This is definitely one of my favorites...I love her 'lil grin in this picture!!

haha! She looks super chubby in this one...she's really not very chubby though. :)

Emily has been a TON happier recently too. Her gas issues seem to have mainly disappeared! Woohoo! She still does have gas most nights (always in the middle of the night for some reason!) and she still burps up sour smelling milk some days, but nothing like it was earlier. So maybe she is growing out of her colic a bit...oh, and I also have tried my friend Stacey's suggestion - to cut out any food that is acidy or gassy from my diet - like onions, tomato soup, paste, etc., pineapple, and all that sort of thing. It seems to be working! I had tried cutting out one of those things at a time earlier....but I guess it was probably a combination of foods that may have been bugging her. So anyways, the only issue now is that she is taking like 5 days to poop! haha. Seriously though...she FINALLY had a poo today after 5 days of not going and let me tell you that she had one STINKY poop...even though babies who are nursed are not supposed to have stinky poos. You can tell that one was sitting in there for a while. OKAY, OKAY, enough about poop!! ;) Hey...when you have two kids under the age of two, poop is a big topic! haha. :) Anyways, all I know is that I am loving all the smiles and happiness we are getting from Emily recently...it is just plain adorable. :)

she is one happy girl! So glad that her tummy troubles are getting better. And hey- when you have kids poo is a hot topic so don't worry about chatting away about it

Poop is always a great topic for moms. lol Anyway, my dr. told me that breastmilk is so easily digested that so much of it is absorbed that there is very little waste left. That is why they go so long without pooping. (I was worried when Jillian went 4 days for the first time) I'm so glad Emily's colic problems seem to be coming to an end! Yeah!

She seems like such a happy baby (not to mention adorable)! Isn't it amazing how concerned you get over someone else's poop once you are a mom? Madison had a kelly green poop earlier this summer after eating a fruit roll up with her uncle and it was the only thing I could talk about for days!

You are so funny. Someone told me one time that if "poop" is a topic of conversation you definately are a mommy! She is such a cutie. She makes me happy just looking at her picture!

Beautiful smiles :) I'm glad you found a bit of a solution. It's hard to see your little baby so uncomfortable.

Oh, and about the egg replacer... I asked at both Honeycomb and Health Habit, and they were both out. Health Habit told me that the product had been discontinued :( So I told them about a different one I head about and they are going to try and get it in.
