Yes, our house is slowly filling up with pink!! :) Emily spent her first week or so wearing blue, red and white stuff...and she even had a little blue sleeper with trucks and cars on it! haha. :) It's all good though...girls looks good in blue too. ;) But the pink items are starting to fill up her dresser! This past week we got a package in the mail from my blogging friend Melissa over at Life With Two!!! She is just the sweetest ever...and she decided to send us a package full of treats for Emily and even one special item for Tate. :) Emily of course got a bunch of ADORABLE pink stuff...some blankets, socks and a bunch of onesies that are ever-so-cute!! This is one of my favorite ones:
She's so cute in pink stuff. ;) I never was a lover of pink...but having a girl must have changed that for some reason because all of a sudden I don't mind pink so much anymore! haha.
And Melissa couldn't have picked a better gift for Tate!! It's obvious to anyone who reads my blog that Tate is a HUGE HUGE HUGE lover of cooking! He still "cooks" every day - either with me or else he pretends to cook with my pots/pans, etc. Well, check it out...he got his very own apron, oven mitt, pot holders and to top it all off, a chef's hat too! He loooooved them! Look at him! I may be biased but I think he's the cutest 'lil chef I ever saw! ;)
After we finished making the muffins, Tate would NOT take off his apron and hat...and he proceeded to wear them for the rest of the day! haha! It was super cute. :) And now, whenever he remembers about them he'll go and get them out of the drawer in the kitchen and ask me to put them on...they are very special to him!!
So thanks Melissa!! You've made Tate one happy little boy...and Emily too, and even though she can't say it yet, I think she likes pink, don't you? ;)

You're right girls can pull off blue etc but she sure is adorable in pink. And your little chef is pretty cute too!
I hated pink until I had girls. Now I not only love it for them, I find myself wearing it more and more too. Something special about those girls!
Oh, what am I going to do when all the pink comes!? : )
