We have not recycled a lot since we got married (I know!! Bad us!!)...basically the only thing we recycled was pop cans/pop bottles, etc. because you get a refund for recycling them! And we don't drink basically ANY pop so we didn't recycle that many of those either!
But just this past week I FINALLY got a blue recycling bin and I can't believe how much less garbage we had to throw out this past week!! Now I can recycle all our paper (which is quite a bit with all the newspapers we get!!), milk cartons/jugs, cardboard boxes, tin cans, and of course more...but those are the main things we have in our recycling bin now! And it couldn't be easier...we just put all the stuff in the bin, and every Tuesday morning we bring it out to the curb and leave it there...and the people who run the recycling program come by and pick it up and leave you with a nice empty bin to fill up for the next week! Seriously...it's TOO easy. We should have done this a long time ago! But better late than never I guess. :)

Good for you! My development doesn't recylce! That stinks. but my mom has been recycling for over 10 years at least.
Thats wonderful!
Good for you! I need to get on this too! We are not good with it!
I'm a bad mama, too...I did it all my years of growing up in CA but as soon as I moved to Georgia, I got lazy!
We don't have recycling pickup here, but that would be great! I do try to recycle everything we can, and drop it off at a place not too far. Good for you!
we recycle here and every week both our mixed recycle bin and our paper bin is FULL... just think of how much you are doing for the Earth
Congrats! Recycling in the first step in living a greener lifestyle. You will not regret it!
I ordered two bins 6 months ago and I haven't seen them. GRRRR. Our trash would be greatly reduced if they would get their rear ends in gear and give us our bins!!!
Every home in Winkler has a free bin. We've always recycled because of it. I think we could use another one though.
Good job helping to live greener!
