Daddy's Magic

I can't believe it. The NIGHT Jonathan came home (which was yesterday night), not only did Tate fall asleep in the crib at bedtime in about 10 minutes (as opposed to the 1hr. to 1 1/2 hrs. it took all last week)...BUT he slept until 6:45am!! And yes, I have reason to be excited about that since he woke up between 4:30am and 5:45am every single morning last week!!

AND he napped for 3 hours today (as opposed to the less than 2 hours that he did all week long)

AND he fell asleep in about 10 minutes again tonight!!

AND maybe, just maybe he'll sleep in again tomorrow morning too?!?!?

The only reason I can come up with is that Daddy's home...and now that he's back, all is well...and it is OK to sleep again.

The big question is...what in the world am I going to do when Daddy has to go on a youth missions trip for TWO WEEKS in July?! Yikes!

It is amazing how even at such a young age they can sense when something is very different!

I found you through the MommyFest. Even though it's over, I'm still reading blogs and meeting others. I'm loving it.

Sometimes when my husband was gone, I'd just put the kids in bed with me. Then we all slept just fine LOL.

so glad that Tate settled back into his routine now that daddy is home. And that the baby didn't decide to come while he was gone ;)

Things always go smoother when daddy's around. Now, go have that baby while he's around!lol

I read somewhere that the more sleep they get during the day, the more they'll sleep at night...kinda the opposite of what you'd think!

Yay! Hope Tate keeps up the good sleep and you can rest a little before the baby comes.

Glad to hear he is sleeping better now that daddy is home. Sometimes I feel like Eliza is waiting to see daddy before she will go to bed.

Maybe Tate thought he had to be man of the house while Daddy was gone- so he didn't want to sleep too much. Glad he's sleeping better!

i noticed lil man acts differently when hubby is home for a couple days then goes back to work. it's funny how they do these things.
