Today Jonathan took a day off - finally! :) It's been very busy recently, so this was really nice. We got a bunch of stuff done this morning - all stuff that I had been waiting for him to help me with because me and my 7 month belly aren't exactly going to be very good at doing stuff like...carrying a cradle upstairs, or moving heavy furniture around so we can FIT the cradle in our room! :) So we rearranged our bedroom to fit in the cradle for our coming baby, and also to fit the rocking chair in our room instead of in Tate's room. We thought it would be best to do this a bit before the baby actually arrives so Tate gets used to it (since now we'll be reading stories, praying, etc. in the rocking chair in OUR room and then putting him to bed in HIS room)...and that way he won't have a million changes all at once when the baby arrives. He's a very flexible little guy though...and didn't even bat an eye when we changed the routine a bit tonight! So, that's good news. :)
Anyways, check it out...we had to dust off the cradle because it was quite dusty from spending a year down in the basement. And Tate of course had to help. :) It was SO sweet! I kept telling him the cradle was for our baby...but he thought it was a new place for him to put his puppy, blanket and some toys into! Oh well. :)
Isn't he just the cutest little helper though? I just love it when he helps me - and it's extra special because he WANTS to! I think he "dusted" the cradle for about 15 minutes after we were actually done. haha. :)
He will make such a good big brother...I am sure of it. ;)

It's great that you are getting all the baby stuff out now so that Tate can play with it and see it. I did that and now my daughter doesn't mess with it while the baby is in it. She got it out of her system a few months ago. Good luck.
