Most of you know that my parents were out for a few days this week while Jonathan's been away at school...and we got lots of projects done. :) This is my favorite one though! Taggy blankets! I've been wanting to make one of these for Tate for a while now, and we finally got it done! In fact, we got TWO done! One for Tate and one for baby #2, since Tate probably won't like sharing his too much. :) He loooooooooves tags (that's actually how he puts himself to sleep at night! By playing with the tags on his puppy dog), so I figured this would be perfect for him.
He seems to like his blanket, but it's definitely not going to to take the place of his other blanket that he seems to have fallen in love with earlier (just a plain, yellow fleece blankie) or his puppy dog...if anything, this blanket will be added to the collection of favorites! hehe. :) 
And yes...he claimed BOTH of the taggy blankets as his own! Guess he thought they were pretty neat lookin'. I put the yellow one away now though, so he's back to one taggy blanket now! ;) Honestly though, these are just the coolest blankets ever!! And they are definitely fun to make! I'm not much of a sewing kinda person, but these were really fun!

Those are awesome. I wish taggy blankets came in adult sizes! I know I would like that for the nights I have a hard time sleeping. My kids seems to like tags too but I'm not crafty or good at sewing!
I've seen these blankets and thought it was a neat idea, but didn't think about making one myself! What did you use for the tags? Just ribbon?
