I normally have not brought Tate to the nursery in church. He never goes to the nursery during church since he knows that he needs to sit and play (basically!) quietly and does very well with that during the service. But, during Sunday school we have different nursery workers who watch the kids that are too young for sunday school in the nursery. I have hardly ever brought Tate to the nursery during this time either, for various reasons. But last Sunday he went to the nursery - and when I came back to pick him up, this is what I found...
Tate and his new little friend, reading books together on the rocking chair - awwwww! It was SO adorable. Tate of course just LOVES LOVES LOVES other kids...and this pretty girl was no exception! haha. :)
He loved her shoes! Yes, they were very pretty shoes she had on! He loved her dress - it was soft and velvety, so he kept rubbing her sleeve with his hand! And at one point he even put his arm around her shoulders! haha! It was TOO funny. All the while they are just staring at us wondering why we are laughing and going "awwww!" and snapping pictures! hehe. :)
And he loved her hair too! Apparently she didn't love having her hair touched quite as much - look at that expression on her face! haha...too funny. :)
And despite the hair issue, they were still buddies at the end...and they still had fun "reading" their book together...AND they are still the cutest 'lil prince and princess that I've seen! ;)

I love to see kids sitting together like that. So innocent! Tate looks like a real charmer. Sweet and caring. The perfect little man!

a ladies man already!!!
Sooo cute! They make a great little couple. ;)
PS If we don't take Fly to the nursery, we end taking him outside. He's just not a sit-still-and-be-quiet kind of boy.
