He Came Bearing Gifts!

Yeah! He did (Jonathan that is)! And you'll never believe what that gift was!! I was SO surprised. He never surprises me because either I figure it out ahead of time, or he tells me ahead of time...but for almost the first time Jonathan surprised me a LOT last night when he got home. He was carrying in all his luggage and the last thing he brought in was a...............................

VIDEO CAMERA!!!! What?!?!?!?! I actually didn't believe him at first when he told me it was for ME! I thought he was kidding...or that he had just got a video camera box and put something else in it...except the box was sealed! But he actually brought home a VIDEO CAMERA with a bag and an extra battery, and the stuff to make it so we can transfer the videos to our computer! I was pretty excited!!!!!!!!!!! I still am! :) Do you know how long I've been wanting a video camera? Well...mostly since Tate was born because although we could take videos on our digital camera, they weren't very good quality. But I stopped talking about getting a video camera a while ago because we decided that there was other things we should be using our money for right now. BUT obviously Jonathan changed his mind! :) And of course, I don't mind at all! hehe.

He actually said that since he never got me anything more than supper out and a card for our 5th wedding anniversary (this past summer) that this was a belated 5th anniversary gift! Awwww! He knew I wouldn't want a ring or anything like that (I'm not a jewelry person)...and I'm not a flower person at ALL...so he never gets me flowers - which is totally fine with me. :) But he knew that I wanted a video camera...so he got me that...and in my book, that's the perfect gift! (Then he went on to say that it was also for my next b-day and Christmas and Valentines Day...hahaha...very funny. ;) ).

SO. I am super excited that we can now take good quality videos of Tate and of vacations, etc...we tested it out a bunch today! :) Here's a really cute video of Tate putting the yogurt away after I came back from grocery shopping...he LOVES this job too...and he always helps me put the groceries away...but especially the yogurt! Jonathan added this verrrrry "suspenseful" Pirates of the Caribbean song to the background of the video - I laughed WAAAAY too hard when I heard it! Anyways, check it out...SO much clearer than our previous digital camera videos. :)

what a great gift. We got one before Blake was born but often I find it easier to just pick up my camera and use that to film too (and I still haven't tried to upload onto the computer so that may play a roll)

enjoy it!

Yeah! What an awesome gift! I'm with you- I think there are much better ways to spend money than on jewelry and flowers.

I am not a flower person either- flower wilt, but movies are forever! Hubby did a great job! I laughed and laughed at that movie- only because of the music. Tate is a great helper!

What a guy! I had to buy my own camera.
So much better than tapes isn't it?
That is so sweet that he is putting up the yogurt.
