Our Valentine's Day...

Well, we didn't really have any big plans for Valentine's Day, but Jonathan figured we could afford to go out for supper and we were going to go to this new Chinese buffet place in town that everyone says is SOOOO good. Ok. So that was the plan. However, Jonathan got the flu, and is still getting over it today. I have had a stomach ache all day...but so far NO flu! Stomach ache? I can handle that. Flu? I cannot handle that!!! But due to the flu bug we thought we'd just have supper at home and go out to that supposedly amazing Chinese buffet tomorrow night if we are all feeling okay. SO I made meatloaf, potoatos and salad for supper. It was still yummy. :) Tate tried to make suppe for us too. Really! He "cooked" for 2 hours - and I am not exaggerating! Seriously - he busied himself with his "cooking" for TWO WHOLE HOURS! I could hardly believe it. He barely even made a peep because he was so busy cooking! haha. It's a good thing we didn't eat what he made us though...then we'd really have stomach cramps! hehe. He started off his meal by cooking up some newspaper/sale paper pages. He cooked these for a loooong time before he thought it was time to add another ingredient into the mix. And the magic ingredient was plastic blocks! Deeeelicious! :) These got cooked for a while too. And then right when our supper was ready so was his! ha! Imagine that! :) What great timing...so we all ate the supper that...uhhh...I cooked. ;) But what a sweetheart...slaving over his pots filled with newspaper and blocks for 2 hours. (even though I think he would call it FUN not work. ;) ).

Here's a little video of the chef himself. Enjoy! :)
