Mmmm....soooo GOOD!

Well, my good blogging friend Pam is hosting another Random Recipe exchange thingee. :) I like these...you can find some good recipes in that list!! So, this week is SLOW COOKER recipes!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE (LOOOOOVE!) my slow cooker. It's so nice to just throw in the ingredients and let that slow cooker do all the rest! Love it. It's especially handy with Tate around as well, since it's sometimes hard to make good meals that don't take a TON of prep. Okay. So anyways, here's one of my favorite slow cooker recipes - Jonathan is always begging me to make this one too...so it must be good. ;)

Crockpot Stuffing

1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped Onion
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 tsp. poultry seasoning (or I use chicken bouillon powder instead!! :) )
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
10 c. dried bread cubes (they don't have to be dried though...I just use normal bread and it works great!)
1/4 c. maragine or butter
1 tbsp. chicken bouillon powder
1 1/2 c. hot water (or sometimes a little more if you think it looks too dry)

Put first 6 ingredients into large bowl. Stir well. Add bread cubes and stir. Combine margarine, bouillon powder and hot water in separate bowl; stir to melt margarine and dissolve bouillon powder.

Pour over bread cube mixture. Turn into 5 quart slow cooker and cover. Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours. If you prefer a more moist stuffing, add a bit more hot water and stir.

Makes 8 cups.

That's it! (sorry...no picture...) Ohhh, it's so yummy though! ;) Ok...so now that I have posted that tasty goodness on here, I am going to NAP!! This morning I swept & vacumed the entire basement (company coming over tonight!) and did 2 loads of laundry, and made hamburgers AND entertained Tate...and now I'm TIRED. Yep...it's definitely nap time. See ya later!

Sounds yummy!

I don't have any crockpot recipes, i usually just throw in some meat and some kind of liquid and seasoning.

Thanks for sharing!

Great recipe. If you like a lot of crock pot recipes, you might want to check out Slow Cooker Thursday at Sandra's blog (not my blog, I just read hers).
