Could there be ANYTHING more fun?!?!

(Well...cooking might be almost as fun)...BUT wow, did Tate ever have a blast playing outside in the snow today! It was SOOOO nice - the snow was even melting. Yeah...what a change from last week when we were having windchill's of -57 degrees Celsius. This is much better nicer. ;) We probably spent at least an hour playing out in the snow today - and if it was up to Tate I'm sure we would have spent ALL DAY out there! I took him out once in the morning and we did this:

We made Tate's 1st snowman ever. It was a mini-snowman - I didn't feel like rolling up huge balls of snow in my pregnant state! haha. But as you can see...Tate liked Mr. Mini snowman. He was quite excited about him. He tried wanted to pat him on the head...a lot. ;)

And our poor snowman got 1 too many pats on the head! Oops! Oh well...Tate thought it was funny...and wanted to put him back together again - we tried, but his head was a really weird shape after the first tumble!

Then we went out once more in the afternoon - with Daddy this time. We went for a ride in his Superstore bin - a LONG ride and he didn't complain at all...he was lovin' every second of it! Then he watched Daddy shovel the driveway and played in the snow for about another 1/2 hr. after that! And he cried when I said we had to go inside to get supper ready. That's how fun the snow is...I'll be hoping for some more nice weather after this!! Fresh air, snow, and snowmen with funny shaped heads made for a great day!

P.S. Don't forget to check out my latest contest!

Snowmen with funny shaped heads...that line is cracking me up! I am glad you all enjoyed the day and the snow. Ashlyn loves getting out in the snow too. I'm sure next winter Riley will enjoy it as well. As soon as I get around to it, I have pictures of Ashlyn trying to help daddy to shovel. They are so helpful at this age!!

My kids love the snow too, but since we moved to N.C.they do not get to see much of it.
It sounded like a great day.I ove the snowman.

looks like lots of fun, but I'll stick to living in the sunshine state where we don't have to bundle up so much (o:

What a great job the two of you did. I have to agree that cooking might be just as fun. ;)

I really wished we would have been able to go outside yesterday, it was melting here too, but Rowan and Bria had their naps at opposite times, so I honestly hadn't been out of the house since Thursday morning! Today it's too windy.

We enjoyed some time outside here in MB yesterday, too...FINALLY!!! Taylor, Noah and I went for a walk with the sleds (oh, and the dogs!) it was so nice to enjoy the fresh air for a change, that's for sure. Here's hoping more nice days come your (mine too) way very soon!
