Booples! And a Giveaway!!

Booples! Now what is that? haha ;) Well, recently we found out exactly what Booples is and I just gotta tell you! See that cool lookin' purple guy on the picture? With the REALLY cool hair (or bumps on his head)...haha! I seriously do love his hair (...or bumps). They are so fun! Well, anyways, HE is Boople! And Boople and his friends make up the Booples DVD's which are Christian kids DVD's! This is the first DVD of the cool lookin' Boople and his buddies, and Tate and I watched it the other day while I was still kinda sick and recovering from the flu...so it was nice to have something to just sit down and watch. The 1st DVD has 3 episodes with a little story and then a song to go along with it! They all have super good lessons from the Bible in them too! That's one of my favorite parts - I just think that if we're going to be watching DVD's or TV it should at least be something worthwhile! Tate of course couldn't sit still long enough to watch it all, but he came back and checked out what was going on every time there was a song! And he did a 'lil dance for every song too! haha. :) Obviously he loved the music! I actually loved the music too - upbeat and fun! And new songs that I hadn't heard before too.
After watching the first one, we checked out the 2nd one! This one is longer, and more episodes and songs. And I like the feature on this one where you can play either JUST the episodes or else JUST the songs (that would be the one we'd use for our dancin' Tate! :) )...or else you can just play it all! Once again, it had great lessons - like forgiveness, or God's faithfulness and each episode has a fun song at the end of it. Of course Tate had fun doing new dance moves to the songs (haha!) and I had fun watching both the DVD and him! And just so you know that you have nothing to worry about (you know, like bad parts or scary parts!!) Booples has recently been awarded with the "Parents Television Council Seal of Approval(TM)" AND the "Dove Family Approved" seal! So you know they've got good stuff in there for your kiddos! And well, just in case you need more proof, Booples was also named number 6 on about.com's "Top 10 Christian DVD and Video Series for Children" AND 2 of the episodes from their DVD's have been named finalists at the Seguin Film and Arts Festival! Yeppers! Good stuff. :)
