Tummy 2 Tummy & A Giveaway!

I love babywearing...you all know that by now, right? I think it is one of the best things ever invented! And honestly, I don't know what I would DO without my baby carriers! I am especially looking forward to using them EVEN more when our next little bundle arrives this spring! I am going to love wearing him from newborn on! (I only started at about 4 months with Tate as I could not find a proper carrier before that!) But now I am ready...I have a collection of carriers that are AWESOME (of course I could always use more...haha!), and I know basically what I'm doing (but there is always more to learn too though!) And yikes, did I ever learn a LOT more from this Tummy 2 Tummy babywearing DVD that we recently received!! It has Instructions, explanations on a BUNCH of different baby carriers, troubleshooting tips, and my favorite - the part where they show you all the different positions that you can use with each carrier and exactly HOW to put the carrier on, and the baby in and out from each position...love it!! I learned so much. I even learned of a NEW way to carry Tate in the mei tai (which is my favorite carrier for him right now!!). I often found myself wishing I could raise him up higher on my back somehow so he could see over my shoulder to see what I was doing! Well, the Tummy 2 Tummy DVD had a high back carry for the mei tai!! I was SO excited to find out that you could actually carry them higher up...cuz often our 'lil Tate is leaning out to the side of the carrier to try and see what I am doing in front of him! See...look at this picture I took of us today - well, the camera actually took it by itself - but it obvious that Tate LOVES being worn, and was pretty happy about being up REAL high too! :) I made 2 batches of muffins this way and he enjoyed every second of watching me, and of course of "taste-testing" the frozen raspberries that I was gonna put in my muffins...just to make sure they are okay, right? Tate of course HAD to be the taste-tester! haha :)
